100% Audit Accuracy · 50% Review Time Reduction

Architecting a 5-sided GovTech ERP platform for German social care coordination required mapping strict regulatory constraints into scalable UI patterns. The primary challenge was replacing manual paper-based scheduling and time-tracking with an automated, state-compliant digital workflow while supporting multi-tenant role privileges.

I built a tokenized multi-theme design system in Figma (Auto-Layout, status tokens, light/dark modes) that unified the enterprise ERP with a confidential AI No-Code SaaS platform. We automated planned vs. actual (Soll/Ist) deviation auditing, eliminating compliance risk for state sponsors.

Unping is a collaborative virtual workplace for distributed engineering squads. Standard video calls triggered calendar fatigue and administrative overhead. People wanted spontaneous huddles that felt like turning around in a physical office. The brief was to architect a friction-free spatial environment.

Usability tests confirmed that remote teams did not want infinite canvas maps where they had to manually drag avatars around. They wanted structured room slots with deterministic connection states. We designed an always-on-top desktop widget ("Floating Mode") and mapped WebRTC handshaking queues into deterministic grid cards.

Designing for density in complex SaaS.

    A. Harkusha, self-published, May 2026. Essay, 5 min.

B2B dashboards are often over-simplified in the name of aesthetic minimalism, hurting productivity. We must design for high-density, structured reading that respects power user workflows.

Curriculum vitæ

I am a Lead / Principal Product Designer with 10+ years of experience architecting 0-to-1 B2B/B2G SaaS platforms, AI-driven tools, and enterprise design systems.

My work focuses on scaling design operations (led teams up to 7 designers), digitizing highly regulated state workflows, and engineering tokenized UI architecture that accelerates dev handoff and time-to-market.

Dortmund-based; advocate for pragmatic engineering handoffs and usability evaluation; exploring AI workflows using Claude, Gemini, and Antigravity.

Colophon

If you are looking for a designer to structure complex data, design systems, and user workspaces, write.

About this document. Set in Newsreader, a variable serif by Production Type, and Inter, by Rasmus Andersson, with metadata in JetBrains Mono. Composed on a visible twelve-column grid with a four-pixel hairline register. Built by hand, in plain HTML and CSS, with no framework, no analytics, and no third-party scripts beyond the type.

The single accent colour — a printer's registration red — appears only where the document asks to be marked. Everything else is ink on paper.
